About the Role

We are seeking an experienced pharmacy technician to join our team at NHS Dorset, where you will play a key role in improving health and wellbeing in Dorset through effective medicines optimisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support clinicians to incorporate medicines into clinical pathways in a safe and cost-effective manner.
  • Manage the Dorset Formulary and ensure it remains a credible and trusted document.
  • Provide technical leadership on medicines optimisation and commissioning.
  • Build and maintain relationships with system partners, including pharmacists, technicians, and prescribers.
  • Contribute to the development of medicines optimisation services and ensure best value in medicines use.
  • Manage and interpret data to inform decision-making and present to various audiences.
