About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead to join our team at Charles River Community Health. As a Clinical Lead, you will play a key role in shaping the future of primary care nursing at our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and Associate Director of Clinical Operations to ensure smooth patient flow and daily clinical operations.
- Direct care areas include primary care, lab, and healthcare satellite extensions.
- Guide, mentor, and train new staff (RN, MA's) and ensure all staff have ongoing clinical support and in-services.
- Ensure the team is ready for audits and inspections.
- Responsible for weekly schedule edits in response to any last-minute changes.
- Maintain nursing/medical assistant guidelines by writing, evaluating, and updating policies and procedures.
- Maintain nursing operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing workflows, operational and personnel policies, and procedures.
- Site Vaccine Manager, overseeing, coordinating, and tracking vaccine inventory and vaccination rates.
- Work closely with HR on performance improvement plans and other personnel matters as needed.
- Manage inventory and purchasing of medical supplies for the essential functioning of the practice.
- Support the maintenance and functioning of the medical equipment to ensure a safe patient and staff environment.
- In collaboration with the Director of Nursing, work on recruitment and retention of our mission-driven staff.
- Contribute to the development of future nursing leaders by coordinating preceptorship for nursing students from area colleges and universities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in nursing required, Master's preferred.
- Licensed in Massachusetts as a Registered Nurse with 3+ years of experience in nursing with recent clinical experience in an outpatient medical setting.
- Leadership experience preferred, including evaluation, performance management, and training.
- Must have knowledge of Ambulatory and clinical practices, workflows, and operations.
- Good communication skills, particularly with staff and patients from diverse cultures whose primary language is not English.
- Willingness to support training needs for students, internships, and preceptorships, as requested.
- Experience with Patient Centered Medical Home model and concepts preferred.
