Job Overview

As a Commercial Trader at Ad Idem Consulting, you will play a crucial role in optimizing trading strategies and managing risk in the power market.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and Implement Trading Strategies: Design and execute trading plans across UK and European Power markets to maximize revenue and minimize risk.
  2. PPA Pricing Models: Develop and maintain pricing models for Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) to ensure optimal pricing and risk management.
  3. Interconnector Flow Optimization: Analyze and optimize interconnector flows to maximize trading opportunities and minimize losses.
  4. Trade Execution: Execute day-ahead, intraday, and forward trades in physical and financial power markets to achieve trading objectives.
  5. Market Monitoring: Continuously monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and other factors impacting power markets to inform trading decisions.
  6. Risk Management: Monitor and manage live trading risks to ensure compliance with company risk tolerance and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:
