Warehouse Accounts Administrator

Menzies Distribution Limited is seeking a skilled Warehouse Accounts Administrator to join our team in Normanton. As a key member of our depot accounts team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collate and complete information on a weekly/monthly basis to support the depot accounts team.
  • Carry out additional filing and general administration duties within the department.
  • Work closely with the accounts team to understand customer and supplier requirements and expectations.
  • Raise weekly and monthly sales invoices, handle purchase invoices and statements, and reconcile reports sent by accounts payable and credit control.
  • Perform HR duties and responsibilities, including holidays, sickness, and absence records on Itrent.
  • Assist warehouse managers and supervisors with HR-related tasks.
  • Policing of colleague files in accordance with BRCGS requirements.
  • Raise and monitor purchase orders in a timely fashion.
  • Produce weekly reports and investigate and resolve supplier and customer queries.
  • Deal with ad-hoc procurement needs and identify opportunities for continuous improvement projects.
  • Administer PODs and check revenue streams.
  • Perform general administration duties.
Requirements:
  • Experience of accounts payable, invoicing, payroll queries, and HR administration.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly word processing and spreadsheet skills.
  • Customer service-oriented with good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and have a can-do attitude.
  • Previous experience in admin and accounts.
  • Team player with problem-solving skills and excellent time-management skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and maintain accuracy.
