We are seeking a qualified and registered Nurse Associate to join our nursing team at Hightown Surgery. As a Nurse Associate, you will work independently under the leadership of registered nurses and be part of our highly valued and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as an accountable professional, putting people first and providing nursing care that is person-centred, safe, and compassionate.
  • Promote health and prevent ill health by supporting people to improve and maintain their mental, physical, and behavioural health and wellbeing.
  • Provide compassionate, safe, and effective care and support to people, monitoring their condition and health needs on a continual basis.
  • Work in teams, collaborating and communicating effectively with nurses and other healthcare professionals.
  • Improve the quality of care by contributing to the continuous monitoring of people's experience of care and identifying risks to safety or experience.
  • Contribute to integrated care by understanding the roles of other professionals and carers from different organisations and settings.
Requirements
  • Holder of a two-year Foundation Degree delivered by a Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) approved provider.
  • Registered with the NMC as a Nurse Associate.
  • General practice experience, including cervical smears and dressings.
