Key Responsibilities- Act as an accountable professional, putting people first and providing nursing care that is person-centred, safe, and compassionate.
- Promote health and prevent ill health by supporting people to improve and maintain their mental, physical, and behavioural health and wellbeing.
- Provide compassionate, safe, and effective care and support to people, monitoring their condition and health needs on a continual basis.
- Work in teams, collaborating and communicating effectively with nurses and other healthcare professionals.
- Improve the quality of care by contributing to the continuous monitoring of people's experience of care and identifying risks to safety or experience.
- Contribute to integrated care by understanding the roles of other professionals and carers from different organisations and settings.
- Holder of a two-year Foundation Degree delivered by a Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) approved provider.
- Registered with the NMC as a Nurse Associate.
- General practice experience, including cervical smears and dressings.
