Balfour Beatty is seeking a Senior Health, Safety, and Environmental Advisor to enhance our Power T&D Team's efforts, focusing on significant infrastructure projects.
As a Senior HSE Advisor, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing expert guidance and compliance oversight on Health and Safety (H&S) to align with Balfour Beatty's integrated Business Management System (BMS), applicable legislation, BSI standards, and client requirements.
- Engaging with on-site teams to promote safe practices and behaviors.
- Contributing to the execution of the Zero Harm & Sustainability Action Plan.
- Conducting both scheduled and unscheduled inspections, audits, and collaborative site tours.
- Generating detailed reports on inspection findings and communicating these insights to project stakeholders.
- Participating in local and national H&S initiatives.
- Assisting in the planning phase to support design teams in risk identification and mitigation.
- Collaborating with site teams to discover safer operational methods through established safety protocols.
- Delivering ongoing approved H&S Awareness Training tailored to project and organizational needs.
- Providing support and guidance to supply chain partners and subcontractors.
- Contributing to the development of H&S case studies and best practices.

- Membership in a relevant professional organization (e.g., IOSH).
- Possession of a NEBOSH National Level Certificate or equivalent qualification.
