Job Overview

We are on the lookout for a skilled and motivated Accounts Semi-Senior to become a vital part of our client's expanding team. This role presents a fantastic opportunity for a committed professional eager to advance their career in accounting within a nurturing and cooperative setting.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Assisting in the preparation of year-end financial statements for diverse clients, ensuring precision and adherence to applicable regulations and standards.
  • Completing individual and corporate tax returns, including calculations and submissions to the relevant authorities.
  • Supporting senior team members in performing audits and assurance tasks (25% of the role)
  • Engaging with clients to collect necessary information and resolve inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Employing accounting software and systems to uphold accurate financial records and documentation.
  • Assisting with various projects and tasks as directed by management.


Qualifications
  • AAT qualified or part-qualified ACA/ACCA, with relevant experience in a similar capacity within a professional services environment.
  • Strong technical accounting expertise and knowledge of UK GAAP and tax regulations.
  • Familiarity with accounting software such as Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks.
  • Audit experience is not mandatory but is advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with clients and colleagues.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and organizational abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
  • A proactive and collaborative mindset, with a commitment to delivering top-notch service to clients.
