Job Summary

The EMEA Senior Payroll Specialist position is responsible for the end-to-end management of payroll processing for multiple entity payrolls. This role serves as the key point of contact and subject matter expert for the payrolls they support, working closely with payroll vendors to ensure accurate and timely processing.

Main Responsibilities
  • Payroll Processing: Ensure payrolls are processed accurately, on time, and in accordance with all federal, state, local, and regulatory requirements.
  • Payroll Support: Provide first-level support for all EMEA payroll-related matters, responding to complex employee payroll queries escalated from the Service Centre.
  • Policy Interpretation: Interpret policies and regulations regarding leaves, disability, allowances, one-time payments, garnishments, and other payroll-related matters, working closely with payroll vendors to ensure accurate application.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement within assigned payrolls and work with the Global Payroll Process Lead to implement changes.
  • Compliance and Audit: Support internal and external audit processes, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and delivering regular finance, compliance, and audit reporting as per agreed timescales.
  • Payroll Requirements: Work with the Global Payroll Process Lead to define payroll requirements related to payroll projects or enhancements, perform user acceptance testing, and document results.
  • Compliance and Governance: Support the Head of EMEA Payroll to ensure CSL Seqirus meets its compliance obligations with all federal, state, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in HR or Accounting, or Diploma in Payroll.
  • Experience: Solid experience in payroll processing, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in managing end-to-end payroll for multiple countries with a total employee count of over 1500.
  • Skills: Strong payroll management, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with high-level analytical and problem-solving capability, and strong process management and business process analysis competencies.
