Electrical Maintenance Engineer Job Description

Staffbase Recruitment is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our client's busy manufacturing plant near Bilston.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing electrical maintenance activities in a heavy industry manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake planned and reactive electrical maintenance activities on a wide range of plant and machinery.
  • Electrical fault find and repair, maintenance and service of industrial drives and controls systems.
  • Fault find and repair on a wide range of plant and equipment, including CNC and Robot machinery.
  • Assist with machine installations.
  • Motors, contactors, sensors, relays, switchgear, etc.
  • Site facilities electrical maintenance and repair.
  • PPM and accurately recording activities.
Requirements:
  • Recognised electrical engineering qualification, e.g. NVQ 3 or 18th edition electrical installation regs.
  • Excellent single and 3-phase electrical fault find and repair skills.
  • Excellent PLC controls experience.
  • 18th edition certification (or equivalent).
Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, double days, 6am to 1.30pm and 1.30pm to 9pm (rotating). Overtime available.
