Electrical Maintenance Engineer Opportunity

Staffbase Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our client's busy maintenance team in a heavy industry manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing electrical maintenance activities, including fault finding and repair, maintenance and service of industrial drives and control systems, and assisting with machine installations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Electrical fault finding and repair
• Maintenance and service of industrial drives and control systems
• Fault finding and repair on a wide range of plant and equipment, including CNC and Robot machinery
• Assistance with machine installations
• Maintenance and repair of motors, contactors, sensors, relays, switchgear, etc.
• Site facilities electrical maintenance and repair
• PPM and accurate recording of activities

Requirements:

We are looking for an electrical maintenance engineer with previous experience in maintaining automated and semi-automated machinery in a heavy manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have:

  1. A recognised electrical engineering qualification, e.g. NVQ 3 or 18th edition electrical installation regulations.
  2. Excellent single and 3-phase electrical fault find and repair skills.
  3. Excellent PLC controls experience.
  4. 18th edition certification (or equivalent), with candidates holding NVQ level 3 in electrical engineering preferred.
Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, double days, 6am to 1.30pm and 1.30pm to 9pm (rotating). Overtime is available.
