About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist to join our Kent Wheelchair Service team. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with complex mobility needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess the mobility needs of adults and children with complex conditions and prescribe manual and powered wheelchairs with associated accessories.
  • Supervise junior staff and provide clinical guidance to non-clinical colleagues.
  • Work with clinical and operational teams to deliver high-quality service performance and achieve personalized outcomes.
  • Liaise with service user groups, stakeholders, and local services to facilitate joint working and improve service user outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development of internal training resources and support external training programs.
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with excellent organizational and communication skills. You should have experience working with patients with long-term or deteriorating medical conditions and be confident in using digital systems for record-keeping and service performance analysis.

You must be registered with the HCPC as an Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, or Clinical Scientist, or registered as a Nurse with the NMC. A full current UK driving license for a manual transmission vehicle is also required.
