We are seeking a highly qualified and passionate teacher to join our team as a Catalyst STEM Stream Coordinator at Nova Hreod Academy. This is an exciting opportunity to work with our Assistant Principal – Scholarship to develop and oversee the provision of our STEM Program, designed to stretch the most able students.

The successful candidate will be a dynamic leader with high expectations and a commitment to improvement, able to demonstrate excellent organisational and inter-personal skills. They will have a desire and passion to make a real difference to the lives and life-chances of our students.

We offer a supportive leadership team, a committed Governing Body, and a rigorous whole-school discipline policy. Our academy has a superb building with state-of-the-art facilities, and a fantastic team of teachers who have been working together to develop their curriculum.

As a Catalyst STEM Stream Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with our partners in industry and academia to enrich students' learning in the STEM subjects. You will be responsible for developing and implementing the STEM Program, working closely with teachers and other stakeholders to ensure its success.

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, friendly, and well-behaved, with a passion for STEM education and a commitment to making a positive impact on our students' lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the STEM Program, working closely with teachers and other stakeholders
  • Collaborate with partners in industry and academia to enrich students' learning in the STEM subjects
  • Work with the Assistant Principal – Scholarship to oversee and develop the provision of the STEM Program
  • Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners and academics to enhance the STEM Program
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the STEM Program, making recommendations for improvement
