The RoleWe are seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Design and Innovation to join our team and shape the design strategy at Eolas Medical. As the Design Visionary for Healthcare, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of design, from product design and user experience to branding and visual communication. You will collaborate closely with our cross-functional team, including product managers, engineers, and stakeholders, to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of usability and create a powerful visual identity that resonates with our users.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the design vision, strategy, and execution across our product, ensuring a consistent and compelling visual identity across all touchpoints.
- Drive the end-to-end design process, from research and concept development to final design delivery, utilizing user research and data-driven insights to inform design decisions.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to create intuitive and impactful user experiences, balancing short-term needs with long-term vision.
- Advocate for design excellence and user-centric thinking throughout the company, staying ahead of design trends, tools, and industry best practices to keep our products innovative and competitive.
- Present and communicate design concepts and strategies to stakeholders at all levels, ensuring that design decisions are informed by user research and data-driven insights.
- Ability to work in a fast-moving start-up environment, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of design skills, from concept to execution.
- Extensive experience in product design, UX/UI design, and visual communication, with expertise in design tools including Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and webflow.
- Deep understanding of user-centred design principles and methodologies, with a strategic thinker's mindset and a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and balance the needs of different stakeholders, with a proactive, self-driven approach and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
