Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Food Production Operative to join our esteemed client in the food manufacturing sector. This role is ideal for individuals with prior experience in food production who are looking for a new opportunity.

Work Schedule:

Hours: Monday - Thursday, 06:00 - 18:00

Compensation:

Hourly Rate: £11.67

This position offers the potential for a permanent contract for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing heavy lifting tasks, up to approximately 20kg.
  • Collaborating effectively within a team as well as working independently.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
  • Rotating through various departments and production lines.
  • Operating machinery for slicing and grating cheese.
  • Executing packing and labeling of cheese products in accordance with segregation protocols.
  • Engaging in picking and packing activities on the production line.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Previous experience in food production.
  • A solid understanding of basic food hygiene and production standards, including HACCP and SOPs.
