About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Private Client Solicitor to join our thriving Private Client team at Quro. This dynamic position encompasses a wide range of private client work, including estate and care fees planning, will writing, and trust administration.

  • Estate Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive estate plans for clients, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
  • Will Writing: Draft and execute wills that accurately reflect clients' wishes and comply with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Trust Administration: Manage and administer trusts, ensuring that assets are distributed according to clients' wishes and that all tax and regulatory requirements are met.
  • Court of Protection: Navigate the complexities of the Court of Protection, ensuring that clients' interests are protected and that all necessary procedures are followed.
  • Probate and Estate Administration: Handle probate and estate administration, including the distribution of assets and the settlement of estates.
  • Inheritance Tax Planning: Develop and implement strategies to minimize inheritance tax liabilities and maximize clients' wealth.
  • Charitable Giving: Assist clients in making charitable donations, ensuring that their gifts are tax-efficient and that their wishes are carried out.
  • Deputyship: Act as a deputy for clients who lack mental capacity, ensuring that their interests are protected and that all necessary decisions are made.

Candidate Requirements:

Successful candidates will possess strong knowledge in private client matters, particularly in wills, trusts, estates, and tax issues. They must be capable of handling their own caseloads with minimal supervision and demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks, use initiative, and meet deadlines. A professional demeanor, smart appearance, and excellent technical skills are essential.
