Private Client Solicitor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Private Client Solicitor to join our team at Douglas Scott Legal Recruitment. As a Private Client Solicitor, you will play a pivotal role in providing expert legal advice and guidance across a range of private client matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert legal advice and guidance on private client matters, including wills, powers of attorney, court of protection, trusts, estates, inheritance, tax, deputyship, and charities.
  • Deliver exceptional service to clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their requirements and provide tailored solutions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in law and regulations, ensuring compliance and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in private client matters, including wills, powers of attorney, court of protection, trusts, estates, inheritance, tax, deputyship, and charities.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and client management abilities.
  • A track record of achieving and exceeding targets and expectations.
  • Strong commercial acumen and a dedication to delivering exceptional client care.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Qualified Solicitor.
  • STEP qualification or equivalent (desired).
  • Additional relevant professional accreditations are desirable.
