Creche Assistant Job Description

Nuffield Health is seeking a dedicated and passionate Creche Assistant to join our team. As a Creche Assistant, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, secure, and stimulating environment for children to explore their potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement engaging play and education programs to promote children's physical, emotional, intellectual, social, and psychological development.
  • Ensure the creche is safe, clean, and tidy at all times, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Liaise with parents and carers to provide informative and supportive communication.
  • Provide equipment and resources for play and education, ensuring they are safe and suitable for children.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a creche environment, with a strong understanding of childcare legislation and best practices.
  • Qualifications in childcare, such as NNEB, NVQ Level 3, or BTEC, with a focus on early years education.
  • Passion for creating great experiences for children and their families, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
