Job Summary

The Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Criminal Justice Recovery Practitioner. The successful candidate will have a strong background in substance misuse and criminal justice, with a passion for delivering effective interventions and case management.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with clients, probation practitioners, and other partner agencies. They will be empathetic and non-judgmental, with a strong commitment to promoting recovery and reducing reoffending.

The Service

Via Kingston is an established community service that delivers a range of clinical and psychosocial interventions to support individuals with drug and alcohol-related needs. Our service is CQC registered and offers a wide range of pharmacological, psychosocial, recovery-orientated, health-focused, and inpatient interventions.

We are a friendly team of professionals who support each other and work together to deliver high-quality services to our clients. We operate Monday to Friday, with occasional evening or weekend work required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess the needs of clients and develop effective case management plans
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions and support clients in achieving their recovery goals
  • Work closely with probation practitioners and other partner agencies to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Complete detailed reports and maintain accurate records
