About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Officer to join our team in Hull. As a Technical Officer, you will provide general technical and administrative support to the site Technical Controller and site management team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create, organize, and control documentation in the Food Safety & Quality Manual
  • Be an active member of the site HACCP Team
  • Be an integral member of the site Crisis Management Team, supporting the site in EWE's and traceability challenges
  • Organize equipment calibration and servicing in accordance with site compliance
  • Support the Hygiene Manager in maintaining the site chemical register
  • Organize and manage the site BRC internal audit program
  • Complete internal audits, compile audit reports, identify corrective actions, and close out non-conformances
  • Provide support to the Technical Controller when reviewing third-party audit standards and compiling gap analysis
  • Act as a key team member in hosting, presenting, and providing information during third-party audits and internal assessments
  • Collate, monitor, and trend environmental, finished product, allergen, and water results
About You

We are looking for someone with excellent numeracy and literacy skills, working knowledge of SAP, and experience with stock/warehouse management systems. You should be able to work well under pressure, prioritize tasks, and maintain a high level of accuracy.
