Crime Solicitor Job Description

Gemini Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Crime Solicitor to join our client's team. As a leading law firm, our client provides top-notch legal services to corporate entities and private individuals across various practice areas.

About the Role:

  • Report directly to the Department Director
  • Manage a caseload of complex and sensitive cases, including bail applications, serious fraud, white-collar crime, murder, drug crime, and theft
  • Represent clients at the police station, Magistrates Court, Crown Court, and Court of Appeal
  • Collaborate with the CPS and courts to ensure effective case management
  • Prepare statements and collate evidence to support client cases
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance client care and business development

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Duty and Police Station Accreditation
  • Higher rights of advocacy qualification (advantageous but not necessary)
  • Valid Practicing Certificate
  • Proven supervisory experience (advantageous)
  • Excellent client care skills, analytical and organizational abilities, and IT skills
