Senior Electronic Design Engineer - Analogue/Digital

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electronic Design Engineer - Analogue/Digital to join our R&D team in Oxford. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining hardware and embedded software for our legacy products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop complex hardware for existing and new products, covering the full product life cycle
  • Develop the embedded software for microprocessors covering the full software life cycle
  • Capture customer/user requirements, then design, develop, test and maintain software
  • Manage complex projects; plan, track and manage development tasks. Work to deadlines and adapt plans as necessary to meet project objectives
  • Install, use, and maintain tools and technologies such as PCB design tools and software development environments
Requirements:
  • Good experience and knowledge of schematic capture, PCB design and layout for complex systems
  • Good firmware/ embedded C/C++ experience in real time systems
  • Experience of testing firmware for low to medium volume production
  • Experience of working with inertial sensors / inertial navigation systems or Digital Signal Processing is desirable
  • Practical networking experience (Ethernet, CAN, etc.) Is desirable
