Localization Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled Localization Associate to join our localisation team at Ocado Logistics. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our international growth by contributing to the localisation efforts using CAT tools and handling daily localisation requests from across the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the entire translation process from information retrieval to delivery and follow-up, ensuring timely and accurate results.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to coordinate QA and validation tasks across multiple markets and languages.
  • Provide expert assistance with CAT tools and develop ad-hoc files and solutions as needed.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of reusable assets and glossaries.
  • Ensure seamless communication among stakeholders and respond promptly to inquiries and requests.
  • Become a subject matter expert in the areas of localisation and translation.
  • Perform vendor management tasks, including recruitment, invoicing, and feedback.
Requirements
  • Fluency in Arabic and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with adaptability and a willingness to learn new tasks and skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of a TMS/CAT tool and experience in the localisation industry, preferably with a background in translation project management and/or vendor management.
  • Desirable skills include knowledge of Cloud-based TMS (Phrase), software localisation experience, QA and validation experience, and spreadsheet and data analysis skills.
