Job Title: Database and Distribution Co-ordinator

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Database and Distribution Co-ordinator to join our team at Michael Page (UK). As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for coordinating the distribution of inventory from suppliers to regional hubs and restaurant locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels to avoid stock shortages and surplus, maintaining accurate records and tracking KPIs.
  2. Supply Chain Coordination: Manage relationships with suppliers, logistics providers, and internal teams to optimize the supply chain.
  3. Distribution Operations: Coordinate the distribution of inventory from suppliers to regional hubs and restaurant locations, ensuring timely and cost-effective deliveries.
  4. Compliance and Quality: Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulatory requirements in all stages of the distribution process.
  5. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and implement solutions to enhance distribution operations.

Requirements:

  1. Experience: Previous experience in logistics, distribution, or supply chain coordination, preferably within the food and beverage industry.
  2. Skills: Proficiency in supply chain management software and MS Office Suite.
