Job Title: Service Sales Manager

We are seeking an experienced Service Sales Manager to drive and support the transformation and growth of the Carrier HVAC Service & Aftermarket business in the UK & Nordics region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a sales growth strategy to acquire new clients and build a high-growth service agreement business.
  • Focus on developing a recurring revenue sales model utilizing connected services.
  • Lead a high-performing sales function across the UK & Nordics region and build up the existing sales team capability.
  • Own the UK & Nordics region sales budget, sales plans, and team performance to achieve rapid growth.
  • Implement account plans for key strategic customers in target segments and key vertical markets, as well as introducing territory plans for sales reps.
  • Develop, maintain, and manage a strong UK & Nordics sales pipeline to ensure an accurate forecast of orders bookings, revenue, and growth opportunities.
  • Implement new selling practices to maximize sales efficiency and seller productivity.
  • Develop action plans to improve price performance and improving gross margins to contribute towards a sustained improvement in profit.
  • Assist in the preparation, allocation, and management of sales budgets for target achievement.
  • Assist in the deployment, improvement, and implementation of new sales and CRM tools to enhance sales effectiveness.
  • Design sales policies and practices that align with the global service strategy.
Requirements:
  • Experience working in a service-based, technology/equipment industry.
  • Ideal experience working in a similar level role.
  • Knowledge of building services in a commercial environment is preferable.
  • Extensive experience in leading large remote sales teams is essential.
  • Skilled in professional value-based selling processes and techniques in a B2B environment.
  • Strong communications and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and motivate teams, work across company departmental heads and field service operations to ensure smooth sales coordination and orders handover.
  • Proven problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrixed corporate environment.
  • Excellent time management skills to achieve sales objectives within set deadlines.
  • Good computer skills: knowledge of and proficiency in common office applications such as MS Office and ability to navigate SalesForce.com, SAP, and other business applications.
  • Bachelor's degree / a Master's degree/post graduate qualification would be advantageous.
