Job Summary

Think Recruitment is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee and manage various electrical works on our clients' social housing contracts. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of electrical projects, including EICR's, upgrades, rewires, and communal upgrades.

Main Responsibilities
  • Liaise and Organize Operatives

The Electrical Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating and managing a team of operatives, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to complete tasks efficiently.

Material Stock Control and Distribution

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and controlling all aspects of material stock control, including distribution and allocation of materials to operatives.

Paperwork and Documentation

The Electrical Supervisor will be responsible for reviewing and checking all paperwork, certificates, timecards, and invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Scheduling and Invoicing

The successful candidate will be responsible for scheduling all works ready for invoicing, ensuring that all contract-specific requirements are met.

Client Liaison and Meetings

The Electrical Supervisor will be responsible for liaising with clients, attending meetings, and ensuring that all client requirements are met.

Health and Safety

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all Health and Safety requirements are being carried out, including issuing and adhering to risk assessments and method statements, and ensuring that Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is being utilized by all employees.

Quality Engineer Checks

The Electrical Supervisor will be responsible for conducting quality engineer checks to ensure that all works meet the required standards.

Deadline Management

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all deadlines and work are completed on time.

Customer Satisfaction

The Electrical Supervisor will be responsible for delivering customer satisfaction, ensuring that all clients are satisfied with the work completed.

Additional Responsibilities

The successful candidate may be required to assist in other roles and responsibilities as needed.

Requirements
  • Qualifications

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience in all aspects of the electrical trade, qualified to NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor Level.
  • Knowledge and experience of delivering domestic and commercial electrical work, including emergency lighting.
  • JIB Managers/Gold Card.
  • 18th Edition/City and Guilds Level 3 Electrical & 2391 Inspection and Testing.
