Electrical Qualifying Supervisor - Social Housing Repairs & Maintenance

Based in East London & surrounding areas

Salary: £47,000 + van & fuel card
Full-Time, Permanent

We are seeking an Electrical Qualifying Supervisor to join our team at Howells Solutions Limited, a leading Social Housing contractor, on a reactive maintenance contract based in East London with travel to surrounding areas.

  • Carry out Risk Assessments for Electrical works and staff.
  • Verify all electricians' inspection & testing results whether electronically or on paper in a timely manner to prevent delays ensuring that due care and attention is maintained to prevent any potential electrical issues.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Supervise a team of Electricians, including developing and training apprentices.
  2. Ensure compliance with the current Edition of The IET Wiring Regulations.
  3. Conduct installations, repair, inspect & test electrical installations and complete appropriate Electrical Certificate or Electrical Condition Report.
  4. Manage and maintain electrical systems and appliances.
  5. Develop and implement electrical maintenance strategies to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Requirements
  • Full Electrical qualifications including NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation, Test & Inspect, 18th Edition and NICEIC.
  • Previous experience as an NICEIC approved Electrical QS.
