Job Title: English Instructor

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate English Instructor to join our team at GSL Education. As an English Instructor, you will play a vital role in delivering engaging and tailored English lessons to students with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs.

About the Role:

As an English Instructor, you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering high-quality English lessons that cater to the diverse needs of SEMH students.
  • Fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
  • Developing and implementing personalized learning plans to address individual student needs.
  • Collaborating with other staff members to support students' overall development and well-being.
  • Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback and adjusting teaching strategies as needed.
Qualifications and Experience:

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

  • A strong background in teaching English, with relevant qualifications and experience.
  • Experience working with SEMH students or a willingness to undertake training in this area.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
  • A commitment to creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs.
