Senior Pastry Artisan

We are seeking a skilled Pastry Chef to join our team at a prestigious hotel in the Lake District. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Pastry Chef in running the dedicated pastry kitchen, creating high-quality pastries and desserts for our fine dining restaurant, afternoon teas, and other culinary offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Head Pastry Chef in managing the pastry kitchen and team
• Develop and execute new pastry and dessert menus
• Ensure high-quality standards in all pastry and dessert production
• Collaborate with other chefs and kitchen staff to create a cohesive culinary experience
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment

Requirements:

• Proven experience working in a high-end pastry kitchen
• Strong knowledge of pastry and dessert preparation techniques
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Passion for creating high-quality pastries and desserts
