About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our client, a leading Tier 1 Main Contractor, in Oxfordshire. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in driving the success of our client's projects, working closely with the Commercial team to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure quality, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness in all projects, with a focus on adding value.
  • Collaborate with joint venture partners to build strong relationships and drive project success.
  • Excel in contract negotiation to optimize project profitability.
  • Mentor and develop teams to enhance operational capabilities.
  • Provide exceptional collaboration and communication skills to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Oversee and supervise commercial teams, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Manage commercial contacts with clients and supply chain partners, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Monitor and control project costs, ensuring timely production of reliable cost performance data.
  • Provide commercial advice to site teams and management on contractual issues.
  • Produce financial assessments of insurance claims, working closely with insurers' representatives.
  • Manage time and workloads for commercial teams, ensuring efficient project delivery.
