Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Emponics. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for managing the financial and technical aspects of our contracts, ensuring that we deliver high-quality services to our clients while minimizing costs and maximizing value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the financial and technical aspects of contracts, including procurement, invoicing, payments, cash flow, and cost control.
  • Minimize costs and maximize value by identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Procure materials, plant, and subcontracts in line with our systems and procedures.
  • Produce monthly contract valuations and reports to ensure that we are meeting our contractual obligations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar commercial or quantity surveying role, with a strong understanding of contract management and cost control.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to process high volumes of data and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong IT skills, with experience of using Microsoft Excel and other commercial software packages.
