Position Overview
We are excited to announce an opportunity to join our dedicated team at Cheetham Hill Medical Centre as a Patient Services Coordinator. This role is essential in ensuring smooth operations within our busy healthcare environment.
Role Responsibilities
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all practice protocols and guidelines, ensuring compliance at all times.
- Assist the data management team with chronic disease management systems.
- Handle incoming calls and initiate outgoing communications to facilitate effective interactions, taking messages and addressing relevant inquiries.
- Process incoming documentation, emails, and requests from healthcare professionals and patients.
- Perform additional administrative duties as assigned by practice management, following appropriate training.
- Adhere to the Data Protection Act in all aspects of your work.
- Support reception duties during staff absences to ensure continuity of service.
- Act as a chaperone for examinations when required, following proper training.
- Respond to general inquiries and provide information about procedures as needed.
- Offer assistance to practice teams as necessary.
- Participate in mandatory monthly training sessions.
- Complete any other reasonable tasks as requested by management.
