The Opportunity:

As the Onshore Inspection Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting inspection initiatives across all phases, from proposal development to offshore execution and reporting.

You should possess extensive experience as an Inspection Supervisor and have a strong commitment to delivering precise inspection data. A flexible and adaptable work ethic is essential, as you may need to participate in project mobilizations as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate effective communication with both onshore and offshore project teams.
  • Keep the onshore Inspection Lead updated on inspection activities.
  • Promote adherence to company policies and procedures, especially during vessel visits.
  • Ensure that inspection data and delivery processes are meticulously controlled and quality assured.
  • Participate in tender meetings and provide insights on inspection resources.
  • Ensure proper specification and acquisition of inspection equipment prior to project initiation.
  • Draft project procedures and create offshore work packages, ensuring the offshore team has all necessary documentation and data.
  • Conduct equipment checks at the base before mobilization and confirm receipt of specified equipment by the vessel.
  • Assist with the setup of equipment and systems as required.
  • Act as the primary contact for all inspection-related matters during project execution.
  • Report ongoing progress and challenges to the onshore inspection lead.
  • Provide technical and procedural guidance for inspection activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment movements on company systems.
  • Collaborate with offshore and IT teams to ensure data is backed up according to established processes.
  • Prepare the onshore data delivery site.
  • Ensure the offshore team reports any faults or damages appropriately.
  • Oversee the creation and delivery of reports from the offshore team.
  • Conduct quality control checks and prepare final deliverables for clients.
  • Respond to client feedback as necessary.
  • Complete daily and weekly quality controls and assurance tasks.
  • Engage in ad-hoc activities as requested by the Inspection Lead or Project Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in inspection coordination, with at least 2 years in a similar role.
  • Current CSWIP 3.4U certification is required.
  • Valid UK driving license.
  • OGUK medical and BOSIET/FOET/HUET certifications are desirable but not mandatory.
  • Experience in planning offshore inspection projects.
  • Proficient in inspection data acquisition and reporting.
  • Familiarity with inspection software and MS Office.
  • Significant experience with ROV inspection projects.
  • Experience in mobilization, calibration, and demobilization of inspection equipment.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
