Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Geotechnical Project Engineer - Graduate to join our team at Boskalis. As a Graduate Geotechnical Project Engineer, you will play a key role in carrying out geotechnical activities, including data collection, management, and interpretation of results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Collection and Management: Collect high-quality data and samples, manage and interpret results, and collate findings in a comprehensive geotechnical factual report.
  • Geotechnical Laboratory Schedules: Assist with laboratory schedules, associated specifications, and reporting.
  • Technical Assistance: Provide technical assistance to ongoing offshore projects.
  • Geotechnical Data Acquisition: Acquire and process high-quality CPTu & SCPTu geotechnical data.
  • Offshore Laboratory Testing: Undertake basic offshore laboratory testing and soil and rock logging.
  • Data Processing: Perform computerized data processing and prepare results in accordance with industry standards and in-house practices.
  • Field Geotechnical Reports: Compile field geotechnical reports offshore.
  • Factual/Engineering Geotechnical Reports: Assist in compilation of factual/engineering geotechnical reports onshore.
Requirements:
  • Education: A minimum BSc or equivalent degree with a specialism in Earth Sciences or Civil Engineering.
  • Work Experience: Work experience in this industry.
  • Reporting and Quality Control: Experience in reporting writing and quality control of data.
  • Communication Skills: Communicates in a clear, open, and honest way, encouraging constructive feedback.
  • Travel Requirements: Ability to travel (up-to-date Passport and valid Driving License).
