Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Purchase Ledger Operations: Ensure accuracy and efficiency in invoice processing and payments, and develop and implement robust purchase ledger systems and procedures.
  • Lead the Purchase Ledger Team: Manage and mentor the team, setting objectives and reviewing performance to ensure the team is working efficiently and effectively.
  • Reconcile Supplier Statements: Manage payment runs and reconcile supplier statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
  • Handle Complex Queries: Respond to complex queries from suppliers and internal departments, and prepare financial statements and reports related to accounts payable.
  • Collaborate with Other Departments: Work closely with other departments to improve processes and reduce costs, and ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

Requirements:

  • Proven Experience: Proven experience in a Purchase Ledger Manager role or similar, with strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Accounting Knowledge: Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and purchase ledger processes, and proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Availability: Must be available to start work immediately and commit to full-time hours.
