Job Title: Management Accountant

Kent Frozen Foods (KFF) is seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join their Finance Team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data, providing insightful analysis and recommendations to stakeholders, and driving process improvements.

About the Role:
  • Ensure the effective operation of financial controls and processes, including the integrity of ERP reporting and reconciliations.
  • Support the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting to Sysco Group.
  • Own the balance sheet monthly reconciliation and review process.
  • Responsible for the maintenance of the chart of accounts, including the correct setup of new GL accounts and month-end timetable and ledger controls.
  • Support the external and internal audit processes, ensuring work is delivered on a timely basis.
  • Support the implementation of business simplification and continuous improvement of the financial control environment.
About You:

We are looking for a part-qualified accountant with a strong background in finance, who is able to think analytically and apply logical approaches to problem-solving. You will be an expert at engaging and motivating others to meet their objectives, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills across all levels. A high level of competency in Financial and Management Accounting is essential, with management experience desirable.
