About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team at Doddington Court, a Retirement Housing service in March. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the high standard of our catering services, working closely with customers, families, and staff to deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare meals and drinks, adhering to food hygiene standards
- Collaborate with customers, families, and staff to maintain a high standard of service
- Perform general duties, including maintaining kitchen and communal areas cleanliness
- Identify and report potential faults and hazards to ensure a safe environment
- Manage stock levels, restock as required, and ensure equipment is used in line with guidelines
Requirements
- Desirable experience in a catering/hospitality environment
- Working knowledge of general cleaning duties
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- A general understanding of health and safety in the workplace
- NVQ2 in Hospitality & Catering, or willingness to work towards
