Catering Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team at Doddington Court in March. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and presentation for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook meals and snacks for customers, adhering to food hygiene standards
- Work collaboratively with customers, families, advocates, and staff to deliver exceptional customer service
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and safe environment in the kitchen, communal areas, and customers' flats
- Identify and report potential hazards and faults on site to ensure a safe working environment
- Manage stock levels, restock as required, and ensure equipment is used in accordance with guidance notes
- Previous experience in a catering or hospitality environment is desirable
- Working knowledge and experience of general cleaning duties is desirable
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- A general understanding of health and safety in the workplace
- NVQ2 in Hospitality & Catering, or willingness to work towards
- A competitive hourly rate of £11.44
- 16 hours of work per week
