About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our Outpatient Pharmacy team at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a range of pharmaceutical services, including dispensing and issuing prescriptions, providing advice to patients, and working closely with pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and pharmacy dispensers to ensure all pharmacy duties are carried out in accordance with legal guidelines and departmental procedures.

Main Responsibilities
  • Dispensing and issuing prescriptions
  • Providing advice to patients
  • Working closely with multidisciplinary teams
  • Ensuring accurate and safe handling of medications
Requirements
  • Registered or soon to be registered with The General Pharmaceutical Council as a Pharmacy Technician
  • Previous experience in hospital or community pharmacy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
