Position Overview

The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and experienced Finance Specialist, ready to contribute to a dynamic and expanding finance team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the delivery of comprehensive Management Accounting services, providing accurate, timely, and relevant financial information to facilitate effective financial oversight of the organization. Additional responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of annual and detailed budgets for all departments, based on assumptions agreed upon with Business Partners and budget managers.
  • Oversee the creation of financial forecasts utilizing methodologies established with Business Partners, ensuring robust validation checks are implemented to prevent inaccuracies.
  • Manage the workflow of the management accounting team, addressing ad-hoc information requests and reports while fostering the professional growth of team members.
  • Ensure all financial processes and procedures are thoroughly documented, regularly updated, and compliant with financial regulations.
  • Assist the Finance Business Partner Team in areas requiring additional resources for projects or business cases.
  • Support the Financial Planning & Analysis team in the ongoing development of high-quality Management Information, including the expansion of analytical tools.
  • Act as a deputy for the Senior Management Accountant when necessary.

Required Qualifications:

  • Part Qualified or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Proficient in advanced Excel; familiarity with Power BI is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in utilizing spreadsheets and database tools for financial data analysis.
