About the Role as Heating System Design Engineer at Aira

You'll be responsible for designing efficient, reliable, and compliant domestic heat pump systems that meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design high-quality air source heat pump installations for domestic properties, ensuring compliance with MCS and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Conduct pipe sizing, heat loss, radiator sizing, and noise assessment to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Ensure installations meet planning regulations and MCS standards.
  • Deliver clear and effective schematic diagrams to communicate installation requirements to installers.
  • Collaborate closely with installers to ensure seamless project execution.

Requirements:

  • Hold necessary qualifications, training, and experience to design high-quality air source heat pump installations.
  • Water regulations certificate (WRAS) course.
  • Level 2/3 Award in plumbing.
  • Level 3 Award in Low Temperature Heating and Hot Water Systems in Dwellings.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Qualifications in system design, such as Heat Geek Heating Mastery.
  • Level 3 Award in Installation and Maintenance of Air Source Heat Pump Systems.
