About the Role

The Cleaning Operative will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and clean environment at our facilities. This involves supporting the responsible manager in ensuring that company standards and policies are followed and maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the Centre to a high standard by performing various duties, including vacuuming entrance mats, sweeping and mopping floors, litter picking external areas, and cleaning waste and recycling areas.
  • Operate cleaning equipment, such as scrubber dryers and window cleaning equipment, and use patrol monitors to assist with accident and incident control and prevention.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in a safe and proper manner, taking into account Health and Safety legislation, company policies and procedures, risk assessments, and method statements.
  • Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of client and staff information and report any issues that require attention to the appropriate person.
  • Keep the cleaning area and space clean and tidy at all times and store cleaning materials safely.
Requirements
  • Experience of working in a fast-moving cleaning environment and building partnerships with clients and colleagues.
  • Knowledge of COSHH and ability to use a tablet or smartphone.
  • Articulate and able to communicate effectively with clients and teams.
  • Organised individual who can work well as part of a team or under their own initiative.
  • Able to demonstrate an understanding of high-quality service delivery and its impact.
  • Excellent time management, organisation, and focus on ability to prioritise and multitask.
