Position Overview: We are in search of a proactive and driven Education Recruitment Specialist to enhance our operations. This role is essential for the daily management and administration of our office, as well as for sourcing and selecting skilled Teachers and Teaching Assistants across the North East.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, attract, and engage potential candidates through diverse channels such as online job platforms, social media, and networking events.
- Conduct preliminary interviews to evaluate candidates' qualifications, experience, and fit for teaching roles.
- Establish and nurture relationships with universities and colleges to connect with education professionals seeking their initial teaching positions.
- Work closely with Recruitment Consultants to comprehend school needs and facilitate a seamless recruitment process.
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of school vacancies, job specifications, and educational requirements to effectively align candidates with appropriate roles.
- Create and publish compelling job advertisements to draw in high-caliber candidates.
- Perform reference checks and background screenings for shortlisted candidates.
- Provide administrative assistance, including maintaining precise candidate records and updating the recruitment database.
- Stay informed about the latest trends and developments in the education sector to offer valuable insights to candidates and schools.
