We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Manager to join our team at Futures Manufacturing, a leading manufacturer of electrical products. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth and developing strong relationships with customers in the North of England.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer relationship management database and produce regular sales reports
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote the company's corporate image and reputation, contributing to overall business development plans
  • Stay up-to-date with current market conditions and provide market activity feedback to senior management
  • Conduct face-to-face visits or video calls with customers to develop lasting business relationships
  • Provide technical solutions to customers' needs, working closely with the engineering team when required
  • Oversee order progress with project engineers and update customers on project status
  • Utilize the company's CRM system to record activities and client information
  • Promote a positive image of the company and its products
  • Attend trade exhibitions on behalf of the company, as required
  • Undertake further training and development to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Previous sales experience in the electrical industry, preferably with high-voltage equipment
  • Strong technical knowledge and electrical qualifications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organized and tenacious approach to sales and customer relationships
  • Positive attitude and enthusiasm for the role
