Job Title: Flexible Family Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Flexible Family Support Assistant. As part of the Early Years and Family Service, you will work closely with families and children aged 0-5 years, providing high-quality support and guidance to help them reach their full potential.

About the Role:
  • Support project staff in planning and delivering family sessions, including evaluating sessions and activities to encourage parent engagement.
  • Provide accurate information to families and professionals via phone, email, and in-person, working in a multi-agency approach with vulnerable families, health, and social care teams.
  • Ensure a welcoming and inclusive environment, maintaining equipment and resources as directed by senior staff.
  • Complete and maintain accurate records, providing data to support monthly and quarterly performance reports.
  • Support families in enabling children to reach a good level of development.
Requirements:
  • A commitment to continuing professional development and experience working with families and children aged 0-5 years.
  • Effective communication skills, able to communicate effectively in person and in writing with professionals, staff, and other organizations.
  • Understanding of a multi-agency approach with professionals, early help teams, social care teams, and other early years settings.
  • Knowledge of the aims, objectives, and ethos of Children's Centres and other national developments of services for children aged 0-5 years.
