Job Title: Senior Playworker

Location: Cheadle

Job Type: Permanent, Part-time

Hours: 22.5 per week, Monday to Friday 7.30am until 9.00am and 3.00pm until 6.00pm

Salary: £14.00 - £16.00 per hour

Purpose of Role:

Our client is seeking two Level 3 qualified playworkers to join their childcare team in an out of school club at Cheadle. As a Senior Playworker, you will be responsible for creating a safe and engaging environment for children, planning and delivering activities, and working closely with colleagues to ensure the smooth operation of the club.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging activities for children aged 5-11
  • Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of children at all times
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Level 3 qualification in Playwork or equivalent
  • Experience working with children aged 5-11
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
