About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Specialist to join our Data Centre of Excellence team in London. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing high-quality data governance capabilities across QBE Europe.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the rollout of Collibra as the data governance tool and provide the organization with a comprehensive knowledge base.
  • Develop content for Collibra by working with business and technical stakeholders, rollout usage and training to users, and develop training content.
  • Work with the technical team to implement technical integrations with database and reporting tools.
  • Roll out data governance frameworks across the business, working with project teams to ensure activities are being implemented.
  • Be an advocate for data governance and promote data management best practices consistently across the organization.
  • Develop and maintain data governance processes and documents.
Requirements
  • Experience using Collibra, such as defining community and domain structure, defining characteristics and asset types, assigning responsibilities, and defining workflow requirements.
  • Experience in rolling out data governance frameworks across business and technology stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder management and prioritization skills.
  • Experience writing policy, framework, or standard documents.
