About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing effective relationships with contractors, suppliers, engineers, consultants, and team members to ensure the successful completion of deliverables that support project goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and oversee mechanical work at the project site to ensure it meets contractual obligations.
  • Ensure projects are built according to plans created and submitted, adhering to the client's standards.
  • Cross-functional coordination with Engineering, Project Management, Logistics, Quality, HSE, and support functions as needed.
  • Review contractors' QA plans and procedures, ensuring they align with project requirements.
  • Conduct site audits to verify accurate completion of scope of work in accordance with the quality plan and HSE plan.
  • Identify and communicate application and installation concerns to site management for resolution and future issue prevention.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a University or Technical Degree in Engineering and experience with Utility-scale solar PV projects in the UK. They must be based near the project site in Hereford and possess excellent communication and project management skills.
