Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Procurement Manager to oversee the procurement of commercial vehicle parts across our group. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that we are buying at the right levels to generate maximum returns for the company and savings for our customers, while maintaining relevant stock levels and reducing aged stock value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to achieve business objectives
  • Manage relationships with suppliers to negotiate prices and terms
  • Oversee stock management across multiple branches, including ordering, stock levelling, and stock taking
  • Collaborate with the senior team to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in strategic procurement and stock management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of the commercial vehicle parts market and industry trends
  • Experience with MAM Autopart and Phocas Software
  • Good Microsoft Excel skills
