Job Responsibilities
  • Reporting to the site Supervisor, the Security Officer will operate on a significant facility for a global defense, aerospace, and security organization.
  • Play a crucial role in safeguarding sensitive information across air, maritime, land, and cyber sectors.
  • Securely monitor the premises, including managing a static guardhouse, while protecting company assets and personnel.
  • Conduct regular patrols throughout the expansive facility, inspecting both internal and external perimeters.
  • Stay vigilant to identify and deter any suspicious or threatening behavior, maintaining control until authorities arrive.
  • Adhere to health and safety protocols, documenting and reporting any faults or hazards.
  • Utilize radios and other security equipment effectively on site.
  • Perform initial investigations and provide detailed reports on incidents, suspicious activities, and vehicles.
Required Qualifications
  • Valid SIA Licence.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK with a verifiable 5-year employment or education history.
  • Must have held British Nationality for the past 5 years due to client requirements.
  • Driving licence is essential for travel between locations.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills, with the ability to convey authority.
  • Capability to remain composed and maintain professionalism at all times.
  • A resilient approach to security duties.
