Bench Joiner Role

We are seeking a skilled Bench Joiner to join our team at Optima UK Inc Ltd. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for manufacturing high-quality point of sale units and displays.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the production manager to design and manufacture bespoke POS units and displays.
  • Work independently to produce unique point of sale designs, from concept to installation.
  • Install and shop fit POS units and displays on-site, with projects ranging from 1 to 7 or 8 per month.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Ensure high-quality standards are met and maintained.
  • Manage projects effectively, working overtime as needed to meet deadlines.
Requirements:
  • Time-served experience as a Bench Joiner or Cabinet Maker.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Shopfitting and site installation experience.
  • Experience working in the point of sale/retail display industry.
  • Strong teamwork ethic and good communication skills.
